"....First Class Tour Company” 5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2011 Trip Advisor Our Emu Run Tour to Uluru and The Olgas was everything I expected (from reading all the glowing reviews prior) and more! We were picked up on time and our driver/guides Dave and Calvin, were an outstanding team - very informative as well as very funny. The had just the right mix of facts and humor. The air conditioned bus was very comfortable with adequate rest stops along the way. Our Uluru Base walking tour was extremely well presented by Dave and Calvin. Our BBQ champagne dinner at sunset, with the wonderful view of The Rock, was the best of any other tour in the area! I became addicted to the lamington pastries after being introduced to them on our way home! We took turns sitting up front, too, to spot kangaroos on the side of the road, in the dark. Our driver had to stop for a herd of wild camels crossing the road -How special and unique! I would take this same tour again on my next trip to Oz! "....Hello! Just would like to thank Tony our Emu Run guide for making our 3 day 2 night Camping tour to the red centre the highlight of our trip around Australia. The scenery and historical sites we visited were amazing. But I could not have expected our tour guide to add to the experience as much as he did. With a good balance of time to ourselves and time with the group learning about our surroundings, the trip was just what we wanted. Food was the best we have had on the many trips we have done throughout Australia. Definately recommend this trip to anybody visiting this area. Thank you so much Emu Tours and Tony! "....I did 2 tours with Emu Run to the West Macdonnell Ranges with guide Regina a most memorable day, so knowledgeable but the best was yet to come with the 3 day Camping to Uluru, Olgas & Kings Canyon for my birthday - Ryan our guide was fantastic & made the complete journey fun - good cook as well - great food & he even had a lovely birthday cake with candles on for me - I`ll always remember this trip and the swags were reallly comfortable - Kings Canyon was magic I highly recommend Emu Run Tours to everyone - no extras to pay apart from an optional Camel ride which was cheap @ $6 & lots of laughs - Thank you Emu Run & Ryan for making my birthday everything I could have hoped for :)" Cathy Scott, Sunshine Coast

"...."The best outback tour there is” The 3 day/2 night Camping tour was amazing! It was very well organised and we packed a lot in yet never felt rushed. Tony our guide was fantastic. He is so good at his job - witty, knowledgeable, safe driver, great cook etc and made an effort to include everyone in our 20 strong group. The swags were warm and comfy. The campsites were excellent (one even had a pool) and the food was great and kept our energy levels up. My favourite place was probably Kings Canyon but each day we did great walks and saw breathtaking scenery. We got up very early each day so that we were the first people at our destinations and so we weren't walking in extreme heat, which was a definite positive. The tour is great value for money and you don!t spend any extra money over the whole 3 days if you didn't want to. I can't say enough good things about the tour or Emu Run . I have seen many photos of Uluru, but I never thought the real thing would be so beautiful! While we photographed 'The Rock' in the sunset - changing from orange to pink to mauve to chocolate brown - our guides prepared a great BBQ (even we vegetarians were catered for) with delicious salads; there was sparkling wine to drink. Good group of people , but our guide jason was funny dude and really good chef. They fed us really well - bbq kangaroo, burgers, sausages and chicken. There was vegetarin stuff to so dont freak out if you dont eat meat. Kings Canyon was fun hike and Kata Tjuta hike was probably best surprise of whole trip, just chillin out in valley of the winds. "....We just completed the one day tour to Uluru and Kata Tjuta and what an amazing day it was! Everything was fantastic, the tour guides were so knowledgeable and so enthusiastic. The food provided throughout the day was great and some of the best food we've had for a long time! Both guides made the most effort to make the long journeys enjoyable and kept us entertained with regular stops and commentry, which really broke up the journey. The documentory we were shown on the journey to Uluru was also really interesting. We have learnt so much from the trip and have come away with an unforgettable memory. "....My wife & I wish to thank Emu Run Tours most sincerely for the 1 day trip from Alice Springs to Uluru & Kata Tjuka The 2 drivers, Tic & Lyn were fantastic and really looked after the people on their tour. Their commentary was very informative and we learnt so much about local aboriginal folklore of these fabulous places. At the Sunset Viewing of Uluru, Tic & Lyn prepared a bbq for everyone on the bus and we had a 13 course meal (as Tic said...lol), chairs to sit on and champayne or orange juice from real glasses. "....We just did the Uluru One day trip and it was a BLAST We had an amazing time as our tour guides Matt and Tik were friendly and entertaining and informed us on everything from flora to fauna...I did not use my IPOD once...as Tik entertained the WHOLE crew. Don't climb Ayers Rock - instead do the base tour with Tik and he will fill you in on the stories and take you to the small caves inside Ayers Rock, more interesting and you wont risk your life.
