Transfers operate frequently and connect you from your Ayers Rock Resort accommodation to your Alice Springs accommodation.
Transfers departing at 6pm or later will be on a full size coach with air conditioning and on board toilet.
Transfers departing at 12pm or 1pm will be on a smaller bus with air conditioning.
Your trip will include a comfort stop at Erldunda Roadhouse where you can purchase food and drink and stretch your legs.

We collect you from outside the Outback Pioneer Hotel, Ayers Rock Resort.
Your coach arrives at Alice Springs at approximately 12 am (Mar to Oct) or 1 am (Nov to Feb).

What are the departure and return times?
The pick up time varies throughout the year as sunset time changes each day. Your confirmation will list the pick up time for the time of year you are travelling.
The distance from Ayers Rock Resort to Alice Springs is 446km and usually takes around 5 hours. Weather, traffic and unforeseen delays can change this.
The afternoon service will arrive at Alice Springs at approx. 6pm from March to October.
The evening service will arrive at Alice Springs at approx 12 am from March to October, or at approx 1 am from November to February. You will be dropped off at your Alice Springs accommodation.
Can I bring my family?
Yes. Children aged 2 years and over are welcome on our tour and are charged at a child rate.
All travellers under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who will be responsible for their care.
What should I bring?
We recommend you bring the following on your transfer:
- Proof of booking (can include the e-version delivered to your email)
- Water bottle
- USB chargers (there are USB ports on the coach utilised on evening transfers)
- Travel pillow (for your comfort)
How many people are on each tour?
We have a maximum of 52 people on the tour bus. You will travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle.
